The Kaiarahi Programme
Kaiārahi are the Whānau Ora ground-force, supporting whānau to access integrated care and support. Kaiārahi advocate for whānau and wrap the necessary services around them to assist in achieving whānau goals. Over 200 Kaiārahi are deployed throughout the North Island.
The Kaiarahi Programme 2020-2021
The Kaiarahi Programme engaged with 13,978 whānau members across Te Ika a Maui (North Island) during the 2020/21 financial year (1st July 2020 to 30th June 2021). The Kaiarahi Programme supported whānau to develop plans, set goals and achieve some of their intended short-to-medium term outcomes, through navigation and connection of whānau to relevant services and resources.
