2023/2024 sees our Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency embark on its second Ngā Tini Whetū programme with Whānau Ora Agency Partners - Te Puni Kōkiri and ACC New Zealand.
Whānau Ora and its two agency partners have come together for a two day wānanga to look at how joint investments across agencies with Whānau Ora contribute to much greater substantive outcomes for whānau.
CEO John Tamihere gave his opening remarks on the journey of Whānau Ora.
“Thank you for warming our whare with your presence here today. As collaborators we want to achieve the right outcomes for our communities and get the best outcomes for our people. Whānau Ora has front-facing kaimahi that represent the communities they serve. And we see all our whānau as a solution waiting to happen not a problem.”
Together with Whānau Ora the joint Government Agency investment programme will support 500 whānau over three years.
The joint investment programme builds on our Ngā Tini Whetū pilot in 2020 - 2022 and over 2023/2024 the focus is on establishment of the programme and onboarding whānau and baseline data for rollout as from July 2024.
